This life raft offers full protection to the passenger
in the event of an emergency without any secondary operations.
The lighter weight life raft allows you to reach a greater range while
realizing lower operating costs.
It is designed for easy boarding and increased passenger comfort.
All Goodrich life rafts are certified to TSO-C70s, Type I.
The new features of this lightweight aviation life raft series include an inflated, self-erecting canopy, a user-friendly boarding system, and the oval shape of the life raft to provide a more stable platform. The Goodrich canopy is a stay-erect design. It will remain erect in the unlikely event of upper tube pressure loss, keeping the canopy arch intact. The passenger can stand unhindered at all points and be extracted by a helicopter without having to re-enter the water.
The new boarding system allows the passenger to simply stand up on an inflated porch and enter into the life raft with the minimal effort of climbing a stair. This design enables people with limited upper body strength to enter easily, quickly and without resistance. Four large ballast bags attached to the bottom of the life raft provide excellent stability for a lightly loaded life raft. This feature allows passengers to stand along the side of the life raft and be hoisted by a helicopter without the life raft tipping.
