ACR's Model ELT-201 and ELT-202 Emergency Locator Transmitters are water-activated, floatable survival-type ELT's approved for aviation use to the latest requirements of TSO C-91a.

Both models transmit on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz and are fully compatible with the most stringent transmission coherency requirements of the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system.

The ELT-201 is powered by a ten year rated magnesium battery pack with a five year service life -- more than double that of the competitor's alkaline battery unit.

The ELT-202 is powered by ACR's water-activated silver chloride battery with an indefinite service life, providing maintenance-free service at significantly less cost than the comparably configured unit. Both the ELT-201 and ELT-202 are designed to fit existing aircraft mounting brackets; an improved mounting bracket is offered as an option.

ACR offers a range of aviation, marine, and military emergency equipment including water-activated lights for life vests, strobe lights and airline crew megaphones.
